Kanchenjunga Circuit Trek – Itinerary
Day 1-2: Fly & Drive

- Fly to Bhadrapur (45 min) and drive to Taplejung.
- Enjoy a tea garden tour at Kanyam, Ilam.
- Off-road drive to Sekathum (4 hrs) from Taplejung.

Day 3-6: Trekking
- Begin trek from Sekathum, walking 5-6 hrs/day with an altitude gain of 500-700m per day.
- Trek along Ghunsa Khola, crossing bridges, forests, and waterfalls.
- Possible Red Panda sighting on the way to Gyabla from Amjilosa.
- Pass through Phale and reach Ghunsa, acclimatizing at Khambachen.
Day 7: Acclimatization & Rest
- Rest at Khambachen with a hike to Jannu viewpoints (4420m).
- Enjoy views of Mt. Jannu (7710m) and other peaks.
Day 8-10: March to Pangpema & Descent

- Trek to Lhonak, then to North Base Camp (Pangpema, 5143m).
- Return to Lhonak for an overnight stay and descend to Ghunsa.
- Walk 6.5-7.5 hrs/day.
Day 11-15: Kanchenjunga South Base Camp

- Trek to Tseram, crossing high passes Sele La (4480m), Sinion La (4646m), and Sinelapche La (4750m).
- Reach South Base Camp (Oktang, 4730m) for stunning mountain views.
- Return to Tseram and descend to Yamphudin.
- Walk 6.5-7.5 hrs/day.


Day 16: Drive Back
- Drive from Yamphudin, Taplejung to Birtamod, Jhapa, and Kanyam.
- Farewell dinner in the evening.
